Violence erupts again in bengal -Two bomb-throwing factions -Tension in Chandanagar, Hooghly district | Clash breaks out in Bengal’s Hooghly: Groups hurl crude bombs, bricks at each other

Violence in West Bengal, which went to the level of Tara during the Assembly elections and continued even after the results, gradually erupted again at the request of the Center and the states. This time there were serious clashes between the two factions. There are suspicions that there is a political angle behind this.

According to police, clashes erupted in Chandan Nagar in Hooghly district on Wednesday night. A small riot broke out between a group living in Lichupatti in the city and another group belonging to the Urdu Bazaar which led to some riots.

In Chandan Nagar, two groups attacked each other with stones and bricks during a clash. The whole area was in a state of war and the police dispersed the mob after the incident. According to the police report, the two groups also hurled grenades at each other. A total of six bombs were seized by police.

The mobs came into the streets and smashed the vehicles that appeared. As soon as the information of the riots became known, the police force was deployed on a large scale. Police said they were trying to bring the situation under control and wanted to know if anyone had been injured so far in the riots.

In the context of the Bengal elections, violence, attacks and retaliation between the ruling TMC and the opposition BJP continued. Opposition leader and BJP floor leader Suvendu Adhikari has been booked for theft. Accusing Mamata Sarkar of retaliation, Suvendu met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi on Wednesday.
