There are indications of heavy rains in AP from tomorrow. The reason for this is that two low pressures will form in the Bay of Bengal tomorrow. The meteorological department has forecast moderate to heavy rains for two days.
In fact in two days the northeast monsoon is about to leave the state. In this context, climate change is likely to cause two low pressure areas in the Bay of Bengal as well as in the Andamans. The impact of this is going to fall on the state. A low pressure area of one and a half to four and a half kilometers above sea level is likely over the southern coast of the Arabian Sea and south Karnataka. It seems to be traveling through Chittoor, Kadapa and Anantapur.
Also, another low pressure area from the Andaman coast to the Bay of Bengal is likely to extend over the AP over southern Odisha. It will affect Srikakulam, Vijayanagaram, Visakhapatnam, East and West Godavari districts. The Indian Meteorological Department has forecast moderate to heavy rains in the respective districts. It is also said that two low pressures on a state at the same time. However, officials said the low pressure area was not likely to turn into a hurricane. It is already raining in many parts of Rayalaseema districts before these low pressures form. The effect is expected to be even greater tomorrow.
