The Central Election Commission (CEC) has made all arrangements for today’s polls in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, West Bengal and Assam.
Tamilnadu Kerala Puducherry Assembly Election Voting
Tamilnadu Kerala Puducherry Assembly Elections 2021: Four states and one union territory in the country are all set for elections. The Central Election Commission (CEC) has made all arrangements for today’s polls in Tamil Nadu, Kerala, Puducherry, West Bengal and Assam. Deployed large-scale security forces to conduct the elections in a peaceful atmosphere. On the other hand, in the wake of the corona epidemic boom in the country, Kovid has made special arrangements for voters to vote safely in accordance with the regulations.
The third phase of elections will be held in Bengal and Assam, while Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Puducherry will go to the polls in a single phase. Apart from these, polling will be held today for Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu and Malappuram Lok Sabha constituencies in Kerala. The ruling and opposition parties are already campaigning in the respective constituencies. Assurances were heaped on voters with the goal of winning. Voters will cast their ballots through EVMs in this election, which will be held from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Whose side are the Tamil Tamils on ..!
Elections are being held in a single phase for 234 constituencies in Tamil Nadu. There are a total of 6,62,69,955 voters. For this, 88,937 polling booths have been set up. 58 lakh security personnel were deployed to ensure the peaceful conduct of the elections. Four lakh employees are being utilized to conduct the polling. Officials said that 58 lakh EVMs are being used for this. A polling booth was set up for every one thousand people to exercise their voting right by keeping a physical distance in the wake of the corona excerpt. There was a campaign between the DMK and the Anna DMK to target the ruling party. There is an interest in the extent to which the alliances led by Kamal Haasan and Dinakaran are influencing this fight.
Can history be rewritten in Kerala?
On the other hand, Kerala will go to the polls today for 140 seats in a single phase. Here 957 candidates stood in the ring. Out of the total constituencies, 14 seats are reserved for SCs while two seats are reserved for STs. The CPM-led LDF and the Congress-led UDF are the main contenders for the Bharatiya Janata Party. There are a total of 2,74,46,039 voters, of which 1,41,62,025 are women and 1,32,83,724 are men. For this, 40,771 polling stations have been set up across the state. Also, there are 290 transgender people. The people here have been electing the LDF and UDF alliances as alternatives since the 1980s. It has become a matter of suspense as to which alliance the electorate will favor this time around, as they are expressing their uniqueness without giving power to any single alliance in a row. Will the CPM-led LDF make history again? Otherwise, we have to see if the UDF will be given a chance this time. It is now interesting to see how Kerala voters will react to the BJP, which is expected to come to power this time.
Who wears paga in Puducherry ..?
Meanwhile, elections are underway in 30 seats in the Union Territory of Puducherry. 324 candidates are in the fray for this. A total of 10,04,197 voters will exercise their voting right there. Of these, 4,72,650 were male voters and 5,31,431 were female voters. There are 116 third gender voters. Here the Narayanaswamy-led Congress-government collapsed and a presidential rule was imposed in Puducherry. Narayana Swamy is making a concerted effort to regain power with the DMK. Congress, on the other hand, campaigned vigorously in this election to come to power. The BJP has taken this election seriously with the aim of taking power. It considers Puducherry as the first step towards entry into Tamil Nadu. However, the Congress-DMK-Left alliance is working hard to prevent the BJP-Congress-NR-AIADMK alliance from collapsing in Puducherry.
