Dhaka: The line is almost clear for Bangladesh pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman to play in the IPL. It seems that the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) is ready to give him the No Objection Certificate (NOC) required to play in the mega tournament if he so applies.
Shakib Al Hasan will also miss the upcoming Tests against Sri Lanka and will play in the IPL. This was stated by BCB Cricket Operations Chairman Akram Khan. He said that Mustafizur must therefore apply to the NOC and that the NOC was given to Shakib and the same will be the case with Mustafizur.
The NOC decided to give it to whoever asked. It is noteworthy that the BCB had earlier refused to issue an NOC certificate to Mustafizur. Mustafizur was bought by Rajasthan Royals for his minimum price of Rs 1 crore.
