Kolkata: West Bengal Chief Minister and TMC chief Mamata Banerjee has been pouring rain on the people of the state for weeks ahead of the forthcoming Assembly elections. Mamata Banerjee on Sunday announced that the coronavirus vaccine will be provided free of cost to the people of the state of West Bengal.
Corona vaccine will be given free of cost to all the people of the state
CM Mamata Banerjee made this clear in a letter to Frontline workers. She recalled that during the recent Bihar Assembly elections, the BJP had also mentioned that the corona vaccine would be provided free of cost.
In India, the corona vaccine will be given nationwide from January 16. Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently announced that the country is embarking on the largest vaccination program in the world. He said the vaccine would initially be given to three crore health workers and frontline workers.

Prime Minister Modi made the remarks after a high-level meeting. The vaccination process will continue in the states and union territories. The Center has announced that the upcoming festivals like Lohri, Capricorn, Pongal and Mag Bihu will be given on January 16 after the corona vaccine festival.
The vaccine will be given to healthcare staff and frontline workers who are less than 50 years of age and above 50 years of age. He said the vaccine would be given to people suffering from corona, among other diseases. The government said in a statement that all of them number up to 27 crore. It suggested that MPs and MLAs should take the lead in identifying 50-year-olds.
