Kevin Peterson is a key reference to cricket boards

New Delhi: Former England captain Kevin Pietersen has made a key reference to cricket boards. He suggested watching international matches without schedules during the Indian Premier League (IPL). Kevin’s suggestion came in the wake of many players on the England team claiming that they were benefiting a lot from the IPL. Kevin asked to see to it that there were no international matches during the mega tournament. He also wanted the cricket boards to recognize the IPL as the ‘Biggest Show in Town’.

The IPL 2021 season will start from the 9th of this month. The first match between defending champions Mumbai Indians and Royal Challengers Bangalore will be played in Chennai. Peterson made the suggestion ahead of New Zealand’s tour of England, where Pakistan and South Africa are currently facing off.

The two teams are likely to meet during the IPL playoffs. A two-match Test series between England and New Zealand. The first Test starts on June 2 and the IPL final on May 30. England all-rounder Sam Karan recently announced that he would be available for the series against New Zealand if the Chennai Super Kings do not qualify for the play-offs.
