Hyderabad: Telangana Chief Minister Kalvakuntla Chandrasekhar Rao has taken another crucial decision. CM KCR has decided to supply up to 250 units of quality electricity per month free of cost to all barber shops (hair salons), laundry shops and laundry shops in the state.
Rajaka Sanghs and Nai Brahmin Sanghs across the state have made several appeals to the government in this regard. The decision was taken after close scrutiny by the CM KCR. CM KCR directed CMVO secretary Bhopal Reddy to issue Jivo immediately for this. The authorities have recently released Jivo as per the orders of CM.
The free supply of electricity to hair salons and dobhighats will come into effect from April 1. On this occasion, the CM commented that the goal of the Telangana government is to uplift the most vulnerable sections. He said that many schemes were already being implemented for the welfare of the most vulnerable sections.
With this, up to 250 units of quality electricity will be available free of cost to all hair salons, laundry shops and dobi ghats from the remote village level to the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC).
The latest decision will benefit lakhs of Rajaka and Nai Brahmin families in the state who have been living on the basis of caste occupation for generations, said CM KCR.
