Bloomfontaine: India-A retaliate in the first unofficial Test against South Africa. With openers Prithviraj Shah (48) and skipper Priyank Panchal (45 not out) leading the way, India-A were 125 for loss in the first innings. Abhimanyu Ishwaran (27) was at the crease along with Panchal by the end of the game on Wednesday. Prithvi was caught by Sipamla.

South Africa-A, who had earlier continued the second day’s with an overnight score of 343/3, declared at 509/7. The Indian bowlers dismissed Smith (52) and Peter Malan (163) overnight in the first session. However, Sain Temba (82 not out) and Jart Linde (51) crossed the five-hundred mark with half-centuries. Saini, Nagvsavalla Chero took two wickets.
