The KCR government has stated that like all other states, Telangana will not be left behind in the welfare of the employees even if the economic situation is in trouble due to the corona blow. The Cabinet has taken key decisions regarding the PRC for all types of employees and pensioners in the state. The ministerial meeting held at Pragati Bhavan under the chairmanship of CM KCR approved the new PRC.
The state cabinet has now approved the statement made by CM KCR in the assembly declaring 30 per cent PRC for all state government employees and pensioners (9,21,037) including government employees, contract and outsourcing staff.

The increased PRC has decided to implement and pay the salary from the month of June. The Cabinet has decided to implement Notional Benefit from 1.7.2018, Monetary Benefit from 1.4.2020 and Cash Benefit from 1.4.2021. It directed the authorities to issue orders in this regard.
The Cabinet also decided to pay the arrears (arrears) due to the pensioners from 1.4.2020 to 31.5.2021 in 36 installments, while granting 180 days maternity leave to KGBV contract employees. Further, the Cabinet decided to remove the limit on HRA.

The Telangana cabinet has given further relaxations to the lockdown imposed in the wake of the corona situation. Extending the lockdown for another 10 days increased the relaxation time to 12 hours. Allowed for all activities from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. A strict lockdown will be in effect from 6pm to 6am.
Telangana State Cabinet has approved the Pay Revision Commission recommended hike of 30% to all government employees. The enhanced PRC salaries will be paid from June.
