AP MPTC ZPTC Polls 2021 Live voting: District and Mandal Parishad polling process has started in Andhra Pradesh. The State Election Commission has completed the arrangements for the Parishad elections with the judgment of the High Court Tripartite Tribunal. While elections are to be held for 660 ZPTCs in 13 districts of the state .. 126 were unanimous. Elections for 8 seats will not be held for various reasons. Eleven candidates in the contest have died since March last year. 2,058 are vying for the remaining 515 ZPTC seats. 2,371 seats were unanimous for a total of 10,047 MPTCs. Elections for 375 seats are not being held for various reasons. Elections are underway for the remaining 7,220 MPTC seats with 81 candidates dead. 18,782 candidates are in the ring. Elections are underway for 652 ZPTCs and 7,220 MPTCs across the state. A total of 2,46,71,002 voters will exercise their right to vote.
ZPTC, MPTC polling will start at 7 am and continue till 5 pm. Police officers have completed heavy security arrangements in the wake of the election. It will end at 2 pm in Maoist-affected areas. 27,751 polling stations have been set up for the Parishad elections. Police have set up strong security. Additional forces have been deployed at the already identified violent and troubled polling stations. A special striking force was made available in each sub-division. However, despite the main opposition boycotting the Telugu Desam Party Parishad elections, the elections did not go as unilaterally as the ruling party had hoped. On the other hand, arrangements have been made for a peaceful polling.
On the other hand, the SEC has completed the polling arrangements in accordance with the Kovid rules. Masks, sanitizers, thermal scanners and gloves required for the conduct of elections were prepared at the polling station wise. PPE kits were also made available to the Kovid positive victims so that they could vote. Corona victims were given the opportunity to exercise their right to vote at the last hour of polling. SEC officials said all staff had taken the necessary protective measures in accordance with the Kovid guidelines. Adequate facilities have been set up especially for women staff. Webcasting cameras have been set up at polling stations to directly observe the election pattern. Officials said that if there are any complaints related to the elections, they should call the call center on toll free number 0866 2466877.

MPTC Independent Candidate Arrested
