The suspense and thriller genre always have special niche in tinsel town because of the intriguing ingredients which keeps the viewers glued to their seats thoroughout the flick. The hollywood thriller SAW is a most famous franchise which has plethora of fans following worldwide, Sumanth who is inspired by this flick have helmed kollywood version of Saw which is christened Sadhuram2. The kollywood version is packed with less blood shed and has been made with few changes to enthrall tamil audiences. Lets see the detailed facets of this flick.
The veteran Doctor and professional photographer been abducted by stalker and trapped inside a isolated room, how they get escaped from this situation is the remaining story.
The film commences in decent fashion where most of the sequences were shot inside a room, the entire plot revolves around a doctor and a photographer who were shooked and trapped inside a room by stalker. The storyplot taken by auteur Sumanth is promising but his execution were in less impactful manner with lacklustre screenplay. First half concludes in a tedious fashion with less intense interval block.
Post interval sequences were too shot in tedious template which evokes tiresome watch. The technical crew have done their best to elevate the venture but poor execution of script creates dreary feel. The second half ends with the intense climax sequences which has astonishing twist packed with powerful message.
The Yog japee have essayed yet another innate performance after SoodhuKavvum, newcomer Riaz had very less scope and his expression were average. The female artists Sujavarunee and sanam shetty too had less scope to score. Apart from YYog japee, remaining cast have portrayed average performance.
The positive elements are short running of 90 minutes, intense message towards the end, technical crew done a subtle job. The downsides are Poor execution of plot with less intense screenplay, twist and turns are lacking, average performance from most of the cast.

Filmmaker Sumanth must have concentrated in powerful dialogue, especially in intense screenplay. He should have included few more veteran actors to enhances the plot.
Verdict- Average thriller flick which has good plot and message but executed in less impactful fashion
