The two previous outings of Vishnu- Suseendiran combo has garnered laurel, now this duo have joined hands for another hard hitting project filled with intense message. Parthiban was seen in a meaty character where the core storyline revolves the veteran actor. Also the lead pair Vishnu and Sridivya are teamed for second time after Jeeva. This period drama revolves around a warrior who fights for the rights of tamil people who lived in the era 1980’s, whether the rights are attained or not is the remaining story.
Suseendiran’s execution were solid since from the title card, the narration doesn’t deviates at any time which gives a engaging mood to the audiences. The love portions between Vishnu and Sridivya are presented in pleasing fashion alongside groovy tracks of Imman is been elevated by the cinematography. The plot is simple but the execution were seen in a intriguing style, each and every supporting casts have portrayed a vital role which glued well to the storyline. The intermission sequences has added curiosity amidst the viewers which induces acceleration to the proceedings.
The second half kickstarts with the same intense fashion but addiction of unwanted love tracks towards the climax creates speed breaker to the narration. The downside is the addition of unwanted love tracks in the pre-climax block which affects the flow of the movie. The midway of second half has lost grippness which should be avoided and the duration of romantic songs towards the climax should be trimmed.
